The JV team does NOT have a match tomorrow, Wednesday April 16. Our only match this week is on Friday in Coopersville. We will practice Wednesday and Thursday at 3:15.

Hey girl,
Once again we are canceling practice today due to the rain. I will see you all on Monday, we will practice at 3:15 at the courts if it's nice out, or 5 in the small gym if it is not.

Hey girls, because of the rain there will be no practice today, Tuesday April 8, 2008. As of now we are still on for Thursday 2-3:30.

Band Practice for Monday and Tuesday

Band Members,
We are allowing you to leave tennis tryouts if you must on Monday and Tuesday at 7:15, so that you will be 15-20 minutes late for band practice.

Because we only have 5 days of tryouts, maybe less we really need you to be there as much as you can be. If you can work something out with Doc like many of the varsity team girls have done, we would greatly appreciate it.

Hey girls!

Tryouts begin Monday August 14th and will run Monday through Friday, 5:30-8:30pm.

You also MUST have your physical card either turned into the high school athletic office, or handed into one of the coaches by Monday at 5:30.

Hey Girls,
Sorry about practice getting rained out last night, but I have some good news. I will be down at the tennis courts on Saturday (7-29) at 11AM to play some tennis with whoever wants to come! Get this, Ill even bring the mixed CD!

Again, drills this Saturday, July 29th from 11am until 1pm. Be there!

Hot Weather

Hey Girls,
Just wanted everyone to be aware that the heat index is around 105 degrees this afternoon, and their is rumored to be some storms possibly rolling in for later today. As of right now it looks like the storms will stay north of us. Which means as of now practice is on, but please bring lots of water, and we will again have the big cooler filled with water for refills.

If practice is cancelled I will try to have it posted by 5:30, but if it is raining around 6 just assume that it is cancelled.

Today, Thursday 6-22-06, practice is still on as of now (4:52pm).

If practice does ever cancel it will be posted on here at least a half hour in advance, so try to check the website if the weather looks questionable.

Summer Drills

Summer drills have begun.

Mondays and Thursdays from 6-8pm.
Make sure to have a ride home promptly at 8.

Bring lots of water, a racquet to use, and a good attitude.

Private half hour lessons with Pete (a former Grand Valley player) are available for $10.
